Our latest project

My brother and I have been collaborating on quite a few projects lately. It has been so fun, but this one has been especially fun, so I thought I'd share it with my blog readers. It is a game we created as a part of his German blog which I've mentioned here before. When we work together I make all of the images (cause that's what I do) and he makes them function (cause that's what he does). We make a good team, I think, because our skills and interests are completely opposite. We are always impressing each other with what we can do with one another's ideas... and we have a fun time coming up with new things to do.

Me No Cute

I suppose we've told Jackson more than enough times how "cute" he is. Each time he gets dressed we send him to the other parent to show "how cute" he looks in his clothes. Yesterday when he woke up from his nap after church I asked him if he'd take off his white shirt before having lunch so that it wouldn't get dirty. He didn't want to take it off. I suggested we put on this napkin over it, so that he could still wear it and if anything spilled he'd still be clean. He loved that idea.

And then he looked down.

That is when he fell apart declaring, "Me no cute Mommy!"

Oh, little buddy... even when you're not happy you're cute!
