Lincoln's school had an award ceremony last week in which he won several awards. He was on the superintendent's honor roll along with lots of other kids (meaning straight A's). But our proudest moment was watching him receive the Noetic Math award. There were 13 students in the 4th grade who stood and received an award for their work on a national math test. They all came down and stood together and then they announced that the winner among those winner's was Lincoln. He looked so proud and raised his arm like a national champion. It was a very sweet moment and I might have gotten a little teary eyed. We are so proud of our little mathematician.
