Home!
Just yesterday Harrison still had a chest tube, an epidural, a catheter, and two IV's attached to him. He had his chest tube and epidural removed yesterday morning and by this morning at 10am he was totally tube free and ready to head out the door. I am astounded to see him running around the house as if nothing has happened already. He is walking up and down the stairs and acting like his regular old self!
The surgeon said to Jeff that he was really impressed with how speedily he recovered. He said that an adult with the same procedure wouldn't even be getting out of bed for about two weeks. Here he is back home less than 5 days later!
We are truly counting our blessings and acknowledging the hand of the Lord in all that we have seen come to pass in the past few weeks.
