I have had such fun with Jackson in our time one on one. I'm amazed at how different the dynamic is when the older brother heads off for school. Today we did all kinds of things with dominoes - made a maze for a marble, built towers and bridges and houses and cars. He loves me to chase him around in circles and then sneak up on him. He has such a bright and cheerful personality and is always eager to try whatever is next.Lincoln has been doing great at school. Today when his teacher was helping him get into the car she was about to close the door when he said, "wait!" He looked right at her and said, "I love my two teachers." It was enough to melt anyone's heart. When he has good behavior he gets a green paper star to take home each day. He really thinks about this star all of the time and he knows that everyone is going to ask him if he got one! Even Jackson keeps track. When Jeff called to check on us today Jackson was the first one to say, "Lincoln got a green star!"
Jackson wants to go to school so much. Every day asks where he is going to go while Lincoln is at school. Anytime someone asks Lincoln about his green star Jackson is sure to tell them that he got jelly beans in HIS class (nursery at church!).
All of us had a great afternoon together playing with our neighbors and swimming at the neighborhood pool.
