First Day of School

All of the boys started at new schools this year - they are getting so big!

Lincoln was really nervous about starting middle school.  We went up to the school yesterday though and walked to all of his classes a few times to practice.  That helped a lot - he was comfortable with the building and got to meet a few of his teachers, who were all really great.  He had a great first day.

I had to take Jackson's picture from the car.  He was the least nervous.  He has been to the school quite a bit for Lincoln's activities and was excited for new adventures.  The teachers in his school work in pairs and he has the paired teacher to Lincoln's fourth grade teacher, so we know what to expect - they are great, so we are all happy about it.

I had intended to walk Harrison into school this morning and help him find his way.  I realized on the way that I had to hurry and drop him off first before Jackson, so there wasn't time.  He had to brave it on his own and did great.  He even wanted to ride the bus home on the very first day, "so he wouldn't miss hearing all of the rules."

I asked him what his favorite part of the day was and he said he couldn't decide, it was all so great.  I hope everyone's enthusiasm continues!
