Elder Bednar

Last Sunday we were privileged to have Elder Bednar speak here in Oklahoma City. When I lived in Utah I was able to hear church authorities often and it was a great blessing, but it is a super special occasion to have an apostle right here with us. He opened the floor for questions rather than giving a talk. What an amazing opportunity to ask an apostle anything you want to! The time went so quickly. He gave wonderful answers (nothing new - the same truths as always) in a beautifully Spirit filled meeting. The most important reminders for me were also simple truths. Desire comes with action. The Holy Ghost will answer all of our questions if we are listening and seeking. The answers are in the scriptures. Be a "good girl."

Jackson's Birthday Pics

For some reason I didn't load the pictures from Jackson's party until today. He had a great time with his new light sabers and awesome new helicopter teeter totter. I think I mentioned before that the characters on the cake didn't actually make it until cake time - the proof is here.

Baby Comparison

The number one topic of conversation with a new baby is "who does he look like?" Well, judge for yourself. Here is a little side by side comparison of the three boys as close as I could come to making the same face. Lincoln's is a couple months older in his pic. I have been saying that he looks more like Lincoln, but now that I have this side-by-side he seems like a definite mixture. What do you think? Place your votes here.
