A Little About Them
My Poyner boys.
Jackson: Growing so tall and smart I forget he's only 6 and younger than his brother. Still sweet and sensitive and thinks that everything should be fair - not too happy if it's not.
Lincoln: Does math work for fun and finished an entire packet I got for him to figure out a mystery all in one day. Is full of creativity and unique perspective.
Jeff: My amazing example of service and kindness - never ceases to surprise me
This week's examples: while we were on a date he asked if we could stop and get a rental movie and popcorn for a friend - just surprised them at the door with it and told them we'd brought them a date night.
I had a migraine on Father's day that put me out of commission during the afternoon. He cooked his own father's day dinner and I heard Jackson say, "but dad you shouldn't be cooking - it's for your father's day dinner." His reply was, "your mom knows that I love to cook and to serve and especially to serve her - those are the things that make me happiest." He had no idea that I was listening as I was just coming down the stairs.
Harrison: Talking SO much now. Loves colors, letters and numbers. So easy going and enjoyable (while still having regular two year old challenges) I can't stop talking about how adorable he is. He still likes to make sure that everyone has what they need at meal time and will plop food onto your plate if you are missing something. He seems to have all the same taste buds that Lincoln has... they have all of the same likes and dislikes.
