Baby Audrey

I spent this afternoon taking pictures of our newest family member, Audrey!  She stayed awake for the longest time, which makes photos tricky! She is sooo super sweet though and I enjoyed every minute!  I'll probably edit a few of these later, but wanted to share them as they are with mom and dad.

Cousin Time!

Hannah spent the night with us on Friday night. The girls were so excited to do girly things.  They told me they wanted to do hair and nail type things so I told them to head up into my bathroom and I'd meet them up there soon.  When I got there I found them doing Perler beads and playdough.  Apparently we were having craft time in the bathroom!  The boys joined them as well and we had a few sweet moments of building crazy things.

The next day we headed out to the park to meet up with Lesley and her girls.

Jackson wanted to use his new metal detector out by the lake, so we all headed down there.  The money he found out there may or not have been planted for him to find.

Sarah might be getting a little big for the tricycle.

Spring Break Camping

We have been talking about going camping over spring break for a long time, so when we learned that it was going to be rainy, we opted to brave the weather and just do it anyway!  The first night we didn't get any rain (luckily - because we forgot our rain fly).  The weather was great and we had a lot of fun playing around in the area.  Amy and Sarah joined us early in the morning, making a stop by the house for all of the stuff we forgot!  We had a chance to shoot the new (to us) arrows that Jeff picked up this week and play around in the morning before the rain really started coming down.  The forecast changed from a little rain to rain all day and into the night, so we headed back home this afternoon.  Short, but fun.

Lincoln found a vine that came down all the way from the top of the canyon that was strong enough to swing on.

The kids claimed areas of the canyon for themselves, made alliances and exchanged goods - "I'll trade you this cool stick for that awesome rock!"

A new face!  This is Emmaleigh.  She is living with us for a while because her dad is having health problems.  She is in the same grade and school as Lincoln so it works out great.  I'm really enjoying having a girl in the house!

And look, she even took my picture!
