Jackson Funnies

"Mom, why does that house have such a big backyard?"

"It's a farm. They grow food in the ground and then they pick it and eat it."

"They eat ALL of it?"

"No, they pick it and then sell it at the store."

"OH! I think they grow spicy chicken (his favorite chinese dish) there"

This morning he crawled into bed with us around 6:15. He fell back asleep quickly and then started giggling in his sleep... then he said, "Rarrrrrrrrr." It made all of us wake up laughing. Dad said, "what was that?" Jackson answered, "I had one funny dream. It was a STRONG mouse in the snow." We have been laughing about that all day.

Dreamweaver

I wanted to do a quick post about how much I enjoyed the two day class I took last week. Jeff found the class on the Francis Tuttle curriculum and really wanted to sign me up. He even found a sitter for Jackson and someone to pick up Lincoln from school for those two days (thanks so much Kim and Nicole!!!) The class was about Adobe Dreamweaver and went at just the right pace for me. The instructor was very knowledgeable and followed the pace of the classroom (which dwindled a little as there were people in there at first that struggled with computer basics). She started off teaching us some basic HTML (which I totally need to learn) so that we could understand what is going on in the background and know how to change things that are simply easier to change by using the code.

It was so refreshing to spend my days in the classroom again, have adults to talk with during the day, and feel the excitement of learning again. It definitely made me want to keep learning. The two days weren't nearly enough!
