Jeff had a meeting down in the DFW area this week and invited Harrison and I to tag along. We were excited to spend some time with the Lloyd's while grandma stayed at our house with "the brothers" (as Harrison calls them). It was a bittersweet reminder for me that my little kids days have passed. Both Harrison and Lincoln have needed my help in the night the past few nights as well and I almost cherished those times. Harrison had allergies in Texas and had a hard time sleeping with the resulting runny nose. He woke up in the night saying, "I can't sleep, but if I had music I could." I muttered a very sleepy version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and he fell back asleep in my arms.
Sadly, this is the only picture I took while we were playing with the girls. Harrison was really disappointed that we had to go back home where it was no fun and there were no toys. (HA!)
We took a trip to IKEA and all Harrison wanted were some scrub brushes. All yours kiddo. We waited outside the Dell facility while dad finished up his meeting and had a battle between the orange and black. Somehow his color one every time.
The night we got back Lincoln was having problems with asthma as well and needed to have a few treatments. I heard him coughing in the night and went to check on him. He asked me to lay next to him after he was done to help him fall back asleep. I'm enjoying that they are still my babies for a bit longer, but they sure are getting bigger quickly.
Today we played Hotels and enjoyed the beautiful weather with a family bike ride.
