I can't believe I haven't blogged in a month and a half. Where do I start? We have moved back to Oklahoma and are trying to get settled. We are renting a much smaller home than the one we were in before, so half of our boxes are filling up our garage. We are generally settled though and are starting to get into our new groove. (don't throw off our groove!) The big kids are going to the same school that they went to before, so it is nice to see familiar faces. Jackson doesn't remember most of the kids, but Lincoln knows quite a few. They have made some new neighborhood friends. Jackson has especially befriended a girl named Emily who seems like a girl version of him! She is fun to have around and is here frequently. I'm so glad, because having a good friend is the most important thing for him in this transition.
My favorite things about our new house are:
The bus stops at our front door. Love that.
Garbage disposal (yeah! hated cleaning out the sink without one)
It is easy to clean because everything is so close and easy to access.
It is close to our old home, so I know right where the closest everything is.
The neighborhood has sidewalks for bike riding and lots of kids outside every afternoon.
There is a great view of the pink house from our old street out the back windows... hah!
Knowing we do just fine with less junk.
Jackson is loving the warm afternoons riding his bike with friends.
Harrison learned to pedal his tricycle
Lincoln made up this game of flipping a carrot into a box with a spoon.
