Cookie Thief

I've lost my camera battery charger in the move.  There shall be more than a month of my children's cute faces that are completely undocumented.  Can this be true?!  I laugh at myself for taking so many pictures, knowing that I've sifted through the entirety of my parents youth pictures in a few short minutes, but I just love those little faces and don't want to miss capturing a thing.

So, without a photo of a sugar coated Harrison, I tell his story anyway.

Yesterday he wanted to make cookies.  We had a little pre-made cookie dough bag in the pantry and I thought it would be a perfect little batch for the day.  It made just 9 or 10 cookies and he patiently waited for his cookie to cool, fresh out of the oven on a plate in front of him.  He didn't take a single bite until I said, "it's ok... you can eat it now."  I had already had mine and wandered into the bedroom to fold some clothes, sneaking a second cookie on the way.  Pretty soon, he came in and announced, "There is one cookie left... Lincoln and Jackson can split it."

Wasn't that considerate of him to leave one for them to split?
