Tosha's Shower

We had a fun night last night celebrating Tosha at her bridal shower. I had a fun time decorating with a fall theme. Tosha got lots of great loot. I had to laugh at how things seemed to come in pairs... Each time she opened something she seemed to get the same thing in the next package! We're excited to have Tosha joining the family officially.

Quotes from the boys today

Lincoln and Jackson were arguing about a game they were playing. I was listening to them discuss it, back and forth, each sharing his point of view.... repeatedly. Both of them were right, but neither could see past their own point. Finally, Lincoln said, "Jackson, you need to listen to ME... and quit listening to yourself." Don't we all need to do that!

We had a very early dinner because they were both hungry. Later we went to Sams Club and they were asking for pizza. We told them we would get one piece and they would have to agree on what kind and share it, or we wouldn't have any. Jackson suggested, "ok! We'll get cheese pizza (his favorite) and you can have my crust." How terribly generous.

Amazing Boys

Thought I'd share Lincoln's astronaut conquest and Jackson's brilliantly designed tower from our trip to the science museum this weekend. In reality, uncle Mc built this tower and then set Jackson up on a stool where he could reach the top. He continued to work on it with a very concentrated look on his face. We got a lot of very surprised looks and even a professional photographer stopped to take pictures of him.
