We drove up to Green Bay for the day on Tuesday.
On the way we stopped at this awesome paper museum.
They let us make our own recycled paper.
Here Jackson is squeezing the water out of the pulp after mixing it up in the blender.
We had to press it first with a sponge and then some absorbent paper cloths
They had lots of fun hands on activities - like balancing a bird cut out on your nose
An old paper making machine
Afterward we went to Bay Beach - they have tons of rides and activities there. Tickets cost .25 and the most expensive ride (a roller coaster) was 4 tickets. Most are 1 or 2. So fun!
All of the family at the top of the slide. I got the eye roll when I declined the first run so that I could take pictures. :)
A blurry picture, but we had to document the moment. Jeff told the kids not to feed the seagulls because they would all fly over and poop on us. After the kids went to the playground he and Amy fed the seagulls... and he got pooped on. Tee hee!
The train!
It was really too late to go to the beach, but we had been talking about it all day, so we did it anyway - just for a little while. We didn't put our suits on because we "weren't going to get in." Yeah, right.
The best part was running up to the huge flock of seagulls on the beach and watching them all fly away together.
