A Special Kind of Wednesday

We had no school on Wednesday, so Jeff has been planning for a long time to take the boys skiing. He has really been itching to go! Jackson decided that he would rather try snowboarding. He hopped into the snowboarding class and did great! I was disappointed that they came home with no pictures, but thrilled when Jackson came home the next day with a drawing of his day.

Jeff and Lincoln stuck with the skis and had a great time. I happily stayed home for a regular old work day and enjoyed the deer that were hanging out in the backyard - we saw 12 running across the neighbor's yard that day!

A Little Decor

I took advantage of Gail's eye for decorating while she was here! She always laughs when I ask her for decorating help, but she really is better at decorating spaces than I am. She helped me shop for a few things and then she did all of the set up. I'm excited to have it feel like it has some of my personality in the house. I especially love the little andpersand by the cookbooks and the bird theme up top... okay, I like it all!
