All of the kids got phone numbers from their school friends before school got out and they had all been asking to have playdates, so we decided to do it all in one night. Each kid was allowed to invite a friend. It was a fun night!

The Month of May
We were blessed to attend baby Audrey's blessing and then spend some family time at Granny and Papa's home afterward.
The kids are all moving on to new schools next year. Lincoln had a neat evening at the school where parents were invited to see all the hard work the kids had been doing in their Gifted class. The boys awards ceremonies were scheduled at the same time, so I was only able to make it to one of them. Jackson told me he wouldn't mind if I went to Lincoln's so I did that. He was having a hard time sitting still that day and folded all of his awards up together. I had to leave early to get Emmaleigh to an appointment and I thought I had seen all of his awards, but the next day someone in the office recognized me and pulled me aside. She said that the janitor had found an award crumpled up on the ground and brought it to her. Apparently he was a nominee for one of the biggest awards at the school, and also apparent is his lack of enthusiasm for certificates!
Jackson told me that he got "all the awards, except for perfect attendance."
Harrison's pre-k had a little graduation ceremony. They sang little songs and were presented with their graduation certificates. I have always rolled my eyes when I've heard of full blown graduations for things like Kindergarten, but when it was my own kid I found it to be pretty adorable. :)
Mother's Day Love
I'm months behind and just finally writing about Mother's day on Father's day! I have time to do it today though because I'm sick and I've sent the family off to celebrate with the Poyners. I'm so grateful to call these kiddos mine. Even if they do think I'm 90 years old.
Emmaleigh's 11th Birthday
Emmaleigh was really excited to have a birthday party and really wanted to have it on her actual birthday, so Thursday night it was! This was by far the easiest birthday party I've ever thrown! The girls pretty much took care of themselves. They had a great time playing chubby bunny and making fashion accessories out of tin foil.
