January (and a little lingering December)

Life has been crazy busy, so I'm trying to squeeze a whole month and a half into this overly long, overly non-topical blog post - this is going to involve going through all of the pictures from my phone and trying to remember what happened worth taking pictures.

Jackson's class played the bells at a morning assembly.  It was really cool!  Unfortunately Jackson was behind the music the whole time!  Here I caught a quick glimpse of him.

We've had lots of sickness.  All of us have had some form or another, including the flu, strep and unknown issues!  The pictures is what I looked like after attempting to give Harrison some medicine.  He did not care for it apparently.

Lincoln has known some secrets about Santa for some time, but didn't ever question the tooth fairy until recently.  He lost a tooth on vacation in Florida (maybe two?) and then has lost several more this month.  This time he decided to test out his new theory by putting his tooth under the pillow without informing mom and dad about losing the teeth.  Gotcha!

We had a great trip to the Science Museum with Lincoln's friend Sydney.

Sometimes after we have dinner together we play games with Grandma.  She is a lot of fun to play with!

Did I already mention Lincoln's talent at the talent show?  I know I didn't get good pictures,
but here is his talent, which he was showing off to the missionaries.

Blueberries are always momentous.  Especially if you get this many on your fork at one time.

Both of the big kids had honors assemblies and did great in academics!  Lincoln won the Noetic Math award for the 5th grade again and Jackson had straight A's!

We joined the rest of Oklahoma City for a free day at the zoo on Martin Luther King, Jr Day.  Everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather and getting a chance to see the new baby elephant.  It was SO crowded!  I've never seen it like that before.

The birds weren't even hungry.  They mostly ignored us.

We finally celebrated Harrison's birthday a month late.

A Neighborhood Market just opened up near our house and Harrison got a chance to ride this bull during their grand opening.  He loved it!

We also joined a book review.  We get free books in the mail and in exchange we will write reviews about them.  We are really enjoying this.  Especially Harrison!
