It has been really fun being a full-time mom this summer. The boys and I are making some good memories, deep cleaning a room each week, having fun and relaxing a lot too.
Harrison was so determined to do this at White Water. He could only occasionally reach the ropes, but he made it SO close to the end. He even had some girls (on the right) cheering him on and they let out a big "awww" when he finally fell.
Jeff took Jackson for a haircut (a much needed one), but he went to a unique shop... I'm not sure if the guy had every used anything but clippers in the past. All they asked for was a trim and his hair had gotten pretty long, but he went a little off direction for the back... Jackson was so upset. He cried for two days and wouldn't go out in public. Once he finally did, lots of people thought it was cool, so he's been doing better. I tried to call him Jack Flash, but he wasn't a fan.
One night at dinner we had some raw broccoli. Lincoln was having trouble eating it all, but still wanted dessert. Harrison didn't like it either, but offered to eat it for Lincoln so that he could have dessert. I thought that was super sweet.
We've had some tooth adventures this month... Harrison had his first loose tooth and begged me to take him to the dentist. Every day he would ask if I'd made an appointment yet. Everybody got a much overdo cleaning and there were only two cavities. Not too bad.
Jeff set up a surprise date for us, but then got a cold, so I went with Marcella to paint. It was a really fun night!
The class was right along the Bricktown Canal, so after we painted we went on the canal tour.
The tooth came out!
Jackson has been learning to cook this summer. Here is making Jeff's father's day breakfast. He has also made sushi, and some cakes to give to friends.
Also, we found Nemo at Wal-Mart if anyone is still looking for him.
