Halloween

The week before Halloween we went with the cub scouts to Pumpkinville at the Botanical Gardens downtown.  I love what they have done with that area.  It is so fun and beautiful.

The kids had so much fun in all of the areas.  I was cracking up watching them do a sack race.

Lincoln spent most of his time tossing bean bags.

We had a great time at our ward trunk or treat, but were too busy to take any pictures!  I was a witch serving root beer from a steamy cauldron and Jeff took charge of the last minute request by the relief society to have a chili cookoff.  Lincoln threw a Cornucopia on his head and declared himself "Thanksgiving for Halloween."  Jackson threw on a jester's hat and held up his garage sale find chicken coop, opening it each time he trick or treated.  We took the neighbor boys around with us, which made it quite a big group!

Harrison wore a ninja turtle costume, which is covered up, but you can see a little glimpse of his personal touch if you look closely - he added a tie!  He is also covered in stamps that he got at Jackson's class party earlier in the afternoon.  Silly monkey!
