Photos Making Me Laugh

Jeff with his FIVE screens (usually he has three... occasionally four, but today he whips out the drawer to make room for number five). Really?

Harrison sat on a nerf bullet just right so he has a tail.

Harrison giving Lincoln a look... what in the WORLD do you have on your face? (Lincoln has been under the weather for a couple of days, but is feeling much better now). I tell you, Lincoln does sickness right. There is no moaning in misery, he just sleeps the entire day through and then wakes up feeling better. He's an amazing kid.

Spa Day and Snow

I had a very spoiled weekend - I got to have two dates with Jeff! We finally used the gift card I got for my birthday (in June) and went to Red Lobster. Jeff is not a seafood fan and has managed to convince me to eat elsewhere many times despite the gift card, but I finally got my crab cakes, salmon and shrimp! Yum. I'm sure he wishes it had happened in the opposite way, but they managed to mess up his clam chowder (cold bowl, making cold soup - twice) and chicken caesar salad (warm plate) making him even more frustrated about being there, but mine was delicious. : ) It took forever to get in and out of there though, so we opted not to do a movie. The next night we tried again, first weighing in for our miniature Biggest Loser contest and then out to the movies.

During the day on Saturday Jackson said to me at one point, "mom, why are you not making me food?" I responded with, "Jackson, why are you not rubbing my feet?" He asked me why I would want him to do that I told him about how good it feels and rubbed his feet so that he could feel it. I told him we could get out my foot bath and that would feel really good too. Both big boys thought it was great fun... and wasn't Jeff surprised to hear that we were having a spa day while he was out working!

Today the kids are out of school and we are enjoying the snow falling outside. We're making paper snowflakes and keeping warm, hoping for some accumulation that we can go out and play in!
