The news is out...

We aren't very good at keeping secrets around here and our news has spread quickly so I thought I might as well update the world. Even though you probably already know!

ALL THE GORY DETAILS ALERT -
On Friday I told Jeff that I was done with the whole "trying to have a baby" business. I was ready to call the doctor and call the whole thing quits. That night I looked at my schedule to see when would be a good time to make an appointment... and lo and behold I was late. I am never late. Early, maybe. Not late. I wasn't even paying attention this month because I could feel that I ovulated on my left... where I no longer have a tube. My doctor had told me after the surgery that those eggs can hop right on over to the other tube sometimes, but I didn't really go for that idea. It seems so improbable. Looks like that's how it worked for me though.

I still made the call to the doctor on Monday morning as planned, but the conversation was not the way I thought it was going to go! Instead of saying "I give up." I heard myself say, "I'm pregnant." They are keeping a close eye on me because of the difficulties last fall. Everything is looking good so far.
