So much has been happening I feel like I can relate to the foggy days we have here lately.
I love a good foggy morning that clears up later in the day. It feels mysterious. I like to wonder at what is coming up ahead. I have been walking in the mornings, a lot of days it is just Oreo and I, other days my friend Kelly walks with me. We both like to enjoy the nature and especially love when the spider webs are all dewy and show off their patterns so dramatically.
I have been keeping busy trying some new things and keeping some of the old. Since I'm not working very much I have some time to explore other options. I've been volunteering at Harrison's school at least one day a week. I am a "helping hand" for his teacher as well as the music and art teachers. They kept me especially busy last week as we prepared for election day and veteran's day. I helped the students with their own mock election, voting for OU or OSU. It was fun to help them fill out their ballots all day. The kids were fun, but the other helper was also very entertaining!
I'm also a part of the Christmas concert this year and I am LOVING it. I really enjoy the rehearsals and have also helped out with the promotional materials and even learned to put together some video for the background. That is my favorite thing I'm doing right now. I had to laugh last Sunday when I was practicing singing alto with the hymns and Lincoln leaned over and said, "can you just sing regular, that's really weird."
