Monday Jackson came home from school and wanted to have a lemonade stand. It was about 80 degrees and it felt like a real heat wave. It sounded good to me too, so it was a plan. The kids sold lots of lemonade and had a good time. I was proud of their salesmanship and customer service. Harrison would say, "thank you! Have a nice day" and Jackson delivered for customers who were riding their bikes and couldn't carry their purchase. Emily (have I talked about Emily on here yet?) held out the longest and did a great job calculating everything. Grandma stopped by for a drink too. Jackson set up a bunch of chairs "in case customers wanted to sit down." They did!
It was good that we enjoyed the sunny day... the next day we had freezing rain and many of the tree limbs around town came down. :(
