Workin'

I want to share a couple of projects that have been in the works for some time. I've been debating doing a whole separate blog for design projects. Anyone have a vote on that? Maybe I should just include them here?

Take a look at a website we just released today for a hairdresser.

AND, I finally have a name and a surge of excitement going for the preschool curriculum I've been working on for some time. I have written up a whole curriculum which includes letters, numbers, virtues, concepts, science projects, stories, songs, games and snacks for a 26 week course. Each week has a theme to it and I'm pretty proud of how it is coming together. I've got a million ideas running through my head. My mom and I sat and talked through a lot of things today and the big question, which I put out there now for my reader's advice on, is: Would you pay $20-$25 for a cute, soft glove with my characters on each of the fingers so that you can use it to tell the stories? I want to keep the website free so that anyone could use it, but would still like to get some support for all of my efforts. Here is my logo, which shows the 5 characters.

Conversations of the Day

As we're getting in the car today:
me: Jackson, you can't sit in the middle, you need to be buckled in your seat.
Jackson: me hold on tight
me: No, it is against the law. You have to be in your buckle or they will put me in jail.
Jackson: dad take care us

As we are sitting down to eat:
me: Lincoln, could you say a nice long prayer for our dinner because it is still pretty hot.
Lincoln: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day and for the food and for my mom and for my dad and for the water, and more water, and even more water, and even more water, and even more water, and even more water, and even more water.

[takes a bathroom break and comes back]

Mom, I think it is still too hot. I need to say another prayer. The second prayer was much like unto the first and was just long enough to have a cooled off dinner.
